$3.55 and (less than) 10 minutes

My first 30 minutes a day was a huge success! I decided to deep clean the bathroom - which really just means a normal cleaning and organizing the cabinets (under the sink and over the toilet.)

The before:

(Don't ask me. Even I don't know what all this crap is or how it got there!)

I headed to Lowe's and scoped out the tile selection. Since I didn't care what it looked like, I grabbed the cheapest ones I could find. Mine ended up being only 71¢ each, but honestly if I had a halfway decent Freecycle in this town, I am sure I could have scored some for free. (I posted asking for some so I can do the other sinks, but it takes for-freaking-ever for the moderator to approve the posts, so I am not holding my breath.)

It took less than 10 minutes to cut the tiles, and I just peeled the back and stuck them down. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Much better, don't you think?

looks good---and familiar LOL that's what I have down in the kitchen (grandpa redid it a few years ago-sadly it needs re-doing again)...
